Northwestern Sigma Chi

Home

Dear Brothers, Prospective Members, Parents, and Visitors,

Welcome to the online home of the Omega chapter of Sigma Chi. Founded in 1869, Omega has produced the foremost leaders of the Northwestern community, from prominent Chicago businessman and son of one of the founders of Northwestern George Lunt, to NU board of trustees member and namesake of Ryan Field, Patrick Ryan, to Luke Donald, one of the best professional golfers in the world, among many others.

Success after college begins with success while enrolled, and the Omega chapter of Sigma Chi has proven to be one of the best chapters at Northwestern. In 2010 alone Omega won awards for: outstanding membership development, outstanding new member education, community spirit, outstanding community service, president of the year and the highly coveted chapter of the year award.

Furthermore, thanks to the efforts and generosity of our dedicated alumni, Omega is widely acknowledged to have the most comfortable and best furnished chapter house on campus. In the past two years alone, Omega has raised over $25,000 during Derby Days, a week-long philanthropy to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, has had brothers serve as Dance Marathon emcee for both years, and contributed countless hours of community service in the Chicagoland area. Brothers in Omega range from varsity football players, to editor-in-chief of North by Northwestern, to commander of the Northwestern Naval ROTC.

I encourage you to explore this website and visit us at 2249 Sheridan Road.
